Software Use Policy

1. Purpose

This policy governs the authorized use of Breves Inc., ensuring secure, ethical, and responsible use by all clients and users.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all clients, end‑users, and third parties accessing or using Breves Inc., including desktop, mobile, and API integrations.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Users shall access the software only for lawful, professional, and intended purposes.
  • Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or duplication of code is strictly prohibited.
  • Sharing login credentials or permitting unauthorized users is prohibited.

4. Data Handling & Privacy

  • All client data will be processed per the company’s Privacy Policy.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring the legality of data shared through the software.

5. Security Compliance

  • Users must adopt reasonable security practices (strong passwords, logout after sessions).
  • Reporting of suspected breaches to Breves Inc. support within 24 hours is mandatory.

6. Support & Maintenance

  • Breves Inc. provides technical support Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EAT.
  • Software updates and maintenance schedules will be communicated in advance.

7. Policy Enforcement

Violation of this policy may result in account suspension or termination without prior notice.

Terms and Conditions (T&C)

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Breves Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. License Grant

Breves Inc. grants a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the software according to subscription terms.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details.
  • Users are liable for all activities that occur under their accounts.

4. Subscription & Payment Terms

  • Pricing is as per the selected subscription plan.
  • Payments are due monthly/annually in advance. Failure to pay may result in suspension.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • The software, logos, and trademarks remain the exclusive property of Breves Inc..
  • No rights are granted except those explicitly stated in this agreement.

6. Data Ownership

  • Users retain ownership of data input into the software.
  • Breves Inc. may process and store this data solely for providing the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Breves Inc. shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • Maximum liability is limited to the subscription fee paid in the past 3 months.

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
  • Upon termination, user access will be revoked, and data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

9. Modifications

Breves Inc. reserves the right to amend these Terms with prior notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, with any disputes subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan Courts.
